Judging Criteria
Only entries submitted to the contest theme of "Microbes Make the World Go Round" are eligible to win contest prizes. Judging for category prizes will be conducted entirely through voting by 91麻豆精品Judges. Agar Art Contest judges include 91麻豆精品members, past Agar Art contest winners and professional artists. Note that ratings are subjective and up to the discretion of the judges.
Entries will be evaluated based on the following criteria:
- Theme
- How well does the submission convey the theme?
- Image
- Creativity: How creative and original is the subject matter and design?
- Artistry of the piece: How intricate, detailed or difficult is the design produced?
- Presentation: How well-made is the submission? Is it high-quality?
- Description
- Overall quality and accessibility: How informative and engaging is the description?
- Scientific content: How accurate is any scientific information included in the description?
Contest Prizes
Professional and Creator Categories
Prizes in the "Professional" and "Creator" categories are awarded to first-, second- and third-place submissions as voted on by 91麻豆精品judges. In addition, the top 50 entries in each of these categories are posted online.
